I strongly believe that individuals can do more to stop global warming than governments. Protecting environment is the responsibility of each person in the community. As individuals, we can help in various ways, such as recycling more, buying more energy-efficient household items, or planting more trees in our gardens. It will bring positive results if we join hands and do it every day.
There are people who believe that environmental issues such as global warming… are too big for individuals to deal with. This is because solving such problems requires special equipment, the use of modern technological devices and large numbers of experienced scientists to work together. Only governments can have sufficient funds and resources to invest in this. However, without the awareness and efforts of each individual in environment protection problem, all the solutions of the governments will be meaningless. So all in all, protecting the environment is the obligation of both politicians and individuals. Nevertheless, individuals can do more to stop global warming than governments because human is the core of society.
