A. WARM- UP a. Goal: Refresh pupils' memory of the previous unit b. Organization: T plays a warm-up song then reviews vocabulary from the last unit B. PRESENTATION (10’) Activity 1. Listen and point. Repeat a. Goal: To correctly pronounce the words b. Organization - T points to the pictures then says the words and let the children repeat - T plays the recording then the children point to the correct words - T calls on one student repeat these new words in front of class - T correct their pronunciation if necessary, and praise them when their pronunciation is good. 2. Listen and chant a. Goal: To correctly pronounce the words b. Organization - T plays the recording for chilren to listen to the chant - T place the flashcards on the board. Play chant a second time for children to point and say the words - T calls on one student repeat these new words in front of class - T correct their pronunciation if necessary, and praise them when their pronunciation is good. *Vocabulary: -Doll (n): Búp bê - Ball (n): quả bóng - Teddy bear (n): gấu bông - Car (n): ô tô C. PRACTICE Activity 3. Listen and read a. Goal: To correct identify and pronounce the toys b. Organization -T points to Rosy and ask Who’s this? Do the same for Tim. T asks children to name as many things in the pictures as they can - T asks children to look at the story while listening the recording - T plays the recording again as children point to the picture. - T asks some comprehension questions + Where is the teddy bear? + Who finds the teddy bear? - T invites some Ss to answer the question in front of the class D. PRODUCTION a. Goal: To successfully recall the position of target words and pictures b. Organization - T places all the flashcards on the board then asks the children to close their eyes. T takes one card away. When the children open their eyes, ask a volunteer to say what card is missing |
- Ss remember the vocabulary of the last unit.
- Ss look at the pictures and say repeat
- Ss point to the correct word
- Ss repeat these new words in front of class
- SS listen to the chant - The children have to point to the correct flashcard when they hear it
- Ss listen and repeat, answer the questions from teacher. - Open their book to listen and follow the words as teacher play the recording again. - Ss have to find and point to the words from exercises 1 and 2 that appear in the sroty.
- Ss answer the question. + The teddy bear is in the bag + The girls finds the teddy bear
- SS close their eyes then open their eyes to say the missing card. |
